Chevy/GM steel flexplate fits 1986-1997 Chevy, GM, Buick and Cadillac 262-283-305-327-350 small block engines. High performance S.F.I. approved flexplate is manufactured from stamped non re-sulfurized cold rolled carbon steel plate. The 3/16" steel plate is 2 times heavier than OEM style plates. The gear ring is made from high manganese carbon steel and broached from CNC centers. The gear surface is carbonized to HRC60 for superior strength for engines frequently kicked on and off. The gear ring and steel plate are MIG-TIG welded on both sides for added integrity. Tested to 12,500 RPM for explosion proof in compliance with S.F.I. 29.1 specification. Comes with weight.
